The goal of No-Shave November is “to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free.”  Participants donate the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. A large group of Creare staff have joined in the cause this year, expressing support for colleagues who are battling and surviving the disease.  Many responded to a challenge from engineer Dave Fogg, who pledged to donate an additional $10 for each person who shaved their head to evoke the “full chemo” look.  Check out the many bald heads in our group photo!
